Server Room HVAC

Client is located in a multi-story office and building management has the HVAC system configured to run specific hours during the week and is off on the weekend. Any tenant requiring conditioning 'after-hours' is charged an hourly fee.

Our client requires specific environmental conditions within the server room 24x7 that cannot be maintained when the building HVAC is off over the weekend and other scheduled times.

CAC-CE conducted a site assessment and determined a 3-ton unit would be adequate and recommended a Carrier ductless split system. In addition to the HVAC equipment and required electrical branch circuits, CAC-CE configured and installed a monitor that is linked to the client’s server, allowing email notification of client specific variables if room becomes out of specification (temperature, humidity, water leak, etc).

CAC-CE presented our concept to both client and building manager, and received approval to proceed.

By having CAC-CE’s team conduct the turnkey installation (HVAC, Electrical, Control) our client benefited in a 1.34 year payback on the equipment, and has an environment that can be monitored and controlled to best suit their needs.

I would not hesitate to recommend the services of CAC to anyone who needs a/c or electrical work completed at their commercial location.

Not only are the initial consultants knowledgeable, but the installers are also technically competent and treat the customer as a valued business partner.
